Q.  Are these clubs really any good?  Why should I buy them?

In practical terms, the clubs sold by Golf Bargains Online perform as well as the famous brand names they mirror.  The big difference is that you are not paying for the name - whether it be Nike, Callaway, Taylor Made or another major company line.    Generally, if a club is made from the same materials, using the same geometric designs, withhe same weight distributions and centers of gravity, it should perform the same as another club similarly constructed.   The metal doesn't respond differently just because it has "Callaway" or "Nike" stamped on it as opposed to "Acer" or "Power Play" or "Dynacraft."   If you're looking for a good product at the right price, you won't be disappointed.  We do not offer "clone knockoffology" but quality clubs with real technology and real performance, and make your clubs to order with the shafts, length, and grips you want. 

These clubs ARE bargains, they are priced as low as we can go.  Our prices are some of the lowest you will find for the EXACT SAME MODELS because our goal is to beat the competition.   If we offer the exact same club for 10-20% less than our competitors, we hope that will tip you in our direction.   Therefore we welcome the business of prudent shoppers such as yourself looking to get the most from their hard earned dollars!  Value can be found many places.  Lee Trevino once used an old putter he found in the closet of a house he was renting while competing in the 1974 PGA,  and liked the feel of it so much that he used it to win the tournament!   The point is, useful clubs do not have to come from the most well-known manufacturers.  On a personal note, one of the best clubs I have ever had - a 24 degree utility club - came from a smaller company and cost me $19.95.    So I think you can be just as pleasantly surprised if you purchase something from my company that suits your taste.

Q. How can you sell them at such a low price?

We are able to offer equipment at such low prices through arrangements with various suppliers, and do not mark them up as high as other competitors.  Your products are shipped to you directly from our suppliers' warehouses to you.   As stated above, it is our goal to beat the competition's prices and gain customers who will like what they buy from us,  come back again, and tell their friends and family about us.  (And if you don't like them, tell us that too!) 

Q.  Why are Brand Name clubs so much more expensive? 

It is simple, really: advertising, overhead, and middlemen. The amount actually spent for research and development by the golf club industry is not nearly as large as the money spent for advertising. The real dollars go toward convincing you to buy the name brand club and paying the middleman to get them into your hands.  Independent surveys show that up to 70% of the retail price of a name brand golf club goes to support the advertising and brand name development.

These advertising and brand development costs are legitimate — they provide advertising revenue to the major golf magazines, they provide many millions of dollars of licensing revenue to PGA Tour professionals, they provide even more millions of dollars to the major television networks. The money spent in advertising builds status and peer pressure to buy a name brand. Every advertising dollar spent by the name brand club is targeted to make you feel better (or justified) in paying more money for the brand.  Some people raise their self-esteem by buying a name brand club for more money.

Q. What are the shipping costs? 

Products are shipped via Federal Express Ground, UPS Ground, or USPS Priority Mail, depending on our suppliers, and should arrive within 3-6 business days AFTER the order has been SHIPPED.  United States (48 contiguous states) and APO standard shipping and handling rates charged for all orders are:
 
$9.00 for orders up to $25.00
$11.00 for orders between $25.01 and $50.00
$13.00 for orders between $50.01 and $100.00
$15.00 for orders between $100.01 and $150.00
$18.00 for orders between $150.01 and $250.00
$21.00 for orders between $250.01 and $350.00

Clubs are custom built and are usually shipped within 2-4 business days of receipt of payment, unless it is a weekend or holiday.  Depending on where  you live, delivery will take from  3-6 business days once shipped.

For all INTERNATIONAL orders please e-mail us to place your order and to make shipping arrangements (customer is responsible for all taxes and duties) .   Any duties, tarriffs and/or taxes imposed on orders outside of the United States will be the customer's responsibility. 
  
 

Golf Bargains Online is not responsible for fees charged by FedEx, UPS or other shippers in instances where the customer provides Golf Bargains Online with incorrect ship to or bill to address information (Street, City, State, Zip Code, etc.).  Shipper correction fees will be the responsibility of the customer and the customer will therefore be charged for such fees.

Q. When will my order be shipped?

Depending on the product(s), delivery may be received from different carriers and at different times.  In the event that the product has been backordered, we will notify you via email.  Once your credit is approved, usually in 'real time' while placing your order, the item should be shipped within seven business days (most times it is earlier but on rare occasions it may be longer.  You will be notified of delays).  If the item is not available you will be notified via email at that time and invited to either change your order, cancel the order, or wait until the item is in stock. 

If we have a question about your order (our online ordering system, being created by humans, is not always perfect) we will contact you as soon as possible to clarify the shaft or grip choice, shaft length, etc.  In the unlikedly event of a price choice appearing that has been entered in error on our site (for example, a shaft option mistakingly appearing on the site as $.50 extra instead of $5.00 when the exact same shaft of a different flex is $5.00), we will contact you to explain the error and ask for additional payment, or give you the option of amending the order or cancelling it.

Q. How will I know my order has been received?

You will be sent an email confirming your order to the email address given to us at the time you place your order.  If an item is not available you will be notified within two business days via email and you will be able to choose to either cancel the order, make an alternative selection or wait until the item is available.   NOTE:  No order will be ammended or cancelled after 4 hours of it being submitted, so if you have second thoughts, do not make the purchase.  CANCELLED ORDERS ARE SUBJECT TO A CANCELLATION FEE UP TO 5% OF THE TOTAL ORDER AMOUNT. 

Q. What if the item I have selected is not available?

Unfortuantely, once in awhile an item that you order will be out of stock.  If an item is not available you will be notified within two business days via email and allowed to choose to either cancel the order, make an alternative selection or wait until the item is available.  

 Q. How will I know when my order is shipped to me?

A Fed Ex or UPS tracking number will be send to your e-mail address when your order is shipped to you, allowing you to track it.

Q. Is your ordering system secure? Is your site secure?

We use the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) data encryption process from the very moment you begin to place your order with Golf Bargains Online.com so that your information is fully secure and your purchase protected.   To further protect you from credit card fraud we will not ship items to any address other than the primary card holder's address unless an alternative address has been pre-approved by the issuing bank.  

Q. What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards.  We also accept PayPal, another secure online payment method.  Finally, we accept money orders in U.S. dollars for those who wish to send payment through snail mail for the products they want (include your name, phone number, shipping address and email address along with your order.)

Q. Do your clubs carry a warranty?

Yes.  Clubs have a one year warranty on materials and workmanship (dimples, dings, and chips that occur from normal use are excluded from warranty as well as abuse to clubs).   
During this warranty period,  Seller will replace any returned products which in its sole opinion is determined to be defective or is out of specification.  Returns due to product abuse, or products incorrectly fitted to customers will not be replaced or refunded.  Any attempt to modify or alter Seller's products will void the warranty. THIS WARRANTY COMPRISES THE SOLE AND ENTIRE WARRANTY PERTAINING TO THE ITEMS PROVIDED HEREUNDER.  SELLER MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY, GUARANTEE, OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER.   ALL OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, MERCHANT LABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, WHETHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED, OR ARISING BY OPERATION OF THE LAW, TRADE USAGE, OR COURSE OF DEALING ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. NOT WITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER OF ITEMS BUILT OR ACQUIRED WHOLLY OR PARTIALLY, TO CUSTOMER'S DESIGNS OR SPECIFICATIONS.  Customer assumes all risk and liability for all loss, damage or injury to person or property resulting from the use of said goods and manufacturing processes or in combination with other substances, or otherwise.

Q. What is your return policy?

Clubs without warranty issues will be considered on a case by case basis for return for store credit only (minus shipping and handling and restocking fees), if unplayed and unhit within 10 days of receipt.   Used  clubs, unless deemed defective as defined in the warranty clause, are not covered by this return policy under any circumstances, nor are clubs built to non-standard specifications (e.g. shaft flex other than regular or length other than standard, etc.)   Credit will be in the form of a store credit only for all approved returns, not as a credit to the same credit card used for the original purchase.

Every reasonable attempt has been made to accurately describe for the customer each product herein, and no item may be returned based solely on perceived or actual discrepancies in their playability characteristics when compared to similar products by major manufacturers.  (For example, if a club is shown as comparable to a Ping G5 but the customer thinks it is closer to a Ping G2 model, this in itself is not sufficient reason to return the club).  Nor is delayed shipping a valid reason.

No returns will be accepted without prior return authorization from the Seller, which is granted on a case by case basis.   All return shipments must be accompanied by the original or a copy of the original invoice or packing list, and be packed properly.   All merchandise must be returned to the return address in the original shipping packaging with all accessories that may have accompanied the original shipment.

All returns must be shipped freight prepaid.  No COD shipments will be accepted.  Goods returned for any reason other than defective merchandise or incorrect shipment are subject to a minimum 25% restocking charge.  The goods must be returned in the same condition as was shipped or no credit will be issued.  No returns are accepted for golf bags, headcovers, pre-owned golf clubs, assembled box sets, component clubs assembled by the customer, books, videos, free or promotional goods, sale items or items which have been closed out by the Seller.   These items are covered under our One Year Manufacturer's Warranty.  Guardian Travel cases can be returned if they are in resellable condition.

Return the item(s) via Fed Ex, UPS or USPS mail or other common carrier prepaid and insured.  Fed Ex ground shipping will be covered by Golf Bargains Online on warranty and defective returns only.  Retain your shipping receipt for proof of shipment.
 

Note:    Do not send item(s) back without the proper return address which will be provided with your Return Authorization number (which is valid for 7 days from the date issued.)  

All items must be returned to the originating warehouse.  Items sent back to the wrong warehouse will be refused by the receiver.  We cannot accept responsibility for uninsured packages returned through the US Postal Service.

Shipping rates for packaging, insurance and delivery are not reimbursable. 
  

Q. Will my privacy be protected when using your site? 

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes no information regarding the domain or e-mail address. We collect the e-mail address of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user specific information on what pages consumers access or visit and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.  The information we collect is used for internal review and is then discarded, used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for individual consumer and used by us to contact consumers for marketing purposes.  If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending an e-mail, calling or writing, and telling us that you do not want to receive e-mail from our company.

From time to time we will send out a marketing newsletter from Golf Bargains Online, advising customers and past visitors of special offers and new products. We will only communicate with you if you have given us express permission to do so. You retain the right at all times to be able to 'opt out' of our marketing newsletters for any reason. Golf Bargains Online uses a credit card processing company to bill customers for products purchased online from this site.  Our website uses 'links' to other websites, not related to Golf Bargains Online. We are not responsible for and have no control over the privacy policies of other sites and advise that you refer to the specific information on 'privacy' contained in these sites.

From time to time our website may contain merchant banners which will take you from our site to another merchants site, unrelated to Golf Bargains Online.  This website may also contain links to websites operated by other parties.
